NEOT’s Sustainability Report 2021 has been published
NEOT has published its Sustainability Report for 2021 and it is available at our website within the Sustainability section. The new report is NEOT’s fifth sustainability report available for our stakeholders.
In our latest report, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) continued to play an important role but we revisit the importance of NEOT Spirit to reach these goals.
“Although it was another Covid year, NEOT still managed to push forward key developments. We realised that all our teams are truly driving the sustainability initiatives in the company, and that the sustainability team is not the sole sustainability catalyst. NEOT Spirit is shining through!” says Chad Edwards, Director of Sustainability at NEOT.
Examples from our sustainability work in 2021
- In 2021, we developed a link between our financing and sustainability through our revolving credit facility (RCF) and this is discovered through the case on page 12 in our Sustainability Report 2021.
- We further developed key sourcing contracts to include sustainability aspects for 77% of sourced products in 2022. You can read more from pages 21-22 in our Sustainability Report 2021.
- NEOT further developed its transparency initiatives, through disclosures through CDP (p. 30) and publishing its biofuels feedstock splits and gC02e reduction insight (p. 26) in the Sustainability Report 2021.
NEOT’s Sustainability Report 2021 applies the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards (2016) reporting guidelines but is not compliant with the standard’s requirements in accordance criteria either at the “Comprehensive” nor “Core” level. NEOT’s sustainability reporting is voluntary-based and the information presented in the report has not been verified by an external third party.
