NEOT recognised as one of Finland’s most inspiring workplaces
NEOT has been placed first in the list of ‘Finland’s Most Inspiring Workplaces 2018’ under the category of small organisations (30-149 employees). The award ceremony, announcing which organisations were successful in achieving this prestigious recognition, was held at the Finlandia Hall in Helsinki on 5 February.
Finland’s Most Inspiring Workplaces acknowledgement is granted to Finnish organisations reaching the highest results in the widely used employee satisfaction survey carried out by Corporate Spirit. Receiving this recognition demonstrates personnel’s enthusiasm, motivation and commitment to working towards common goals.
“This achievement shows that our people are feeling particularly good at work. During the years, we have been able to build up a strong culture where everyone has the power to influence, and the decision-making is agile. During the past few years, we have also increasingly invested in a holistic approach to improving personnel well-being, covering both work time and free time,” says Petri Appel, CEO, NEOT.
Personnel satisfaction has been at an excellent level for many years
At NEOT, the personnel’s work satisfaction has been at an excellent level for many years, and the satisfaction survey is answered enthusiastically. In 2018, the survey’s response rate was an impressive 96%, demonstrating a very good level of engagement. According to the survey, people at NEOT particularly value the company’s low level of bureaucracy, efficient decision-making and the efforts being put into improving well-being at work.
“We encourage people to take responsibility for the development of their own work and expertise, and of course we provide the environment to support this. Everyone’s aim should be to act in a way which provides the opportunity for developing the best possible version of themselves. I want to thank our entire personnel for the inspiring atmosphere we have at work and congratulate everyone for this recognition,” says Appel.
